One benefit of being a part of Grace Lutheran School is the opportunity to get involved in your child’s school. Parents who are volunteer and participate in school activities build lasting friendships with other parents, as well as getting a unique glimpse into the day of their child. In order to provide the wide variety of activities, sports, and other student opportunities we depend on our volunteers to help make them happen. See the information below about our PTL and other volunteer opportunities. To volunteer or to get additional information, click the “Get Involved” button below.
Grace Lutheran has an active Parent Teacher League (PTL) to help support various programs in the school and CDC. The PTL exists to provide support to the children in their education – promoting their welfare, raising the standard of home life, and bringing together the home, school, and church in partnership for the Christian education of the children at Grace.
All parents of children enrolled in Grace Lutheran School and CDC are members of the Parent Teacher League (PTL). We invite our parents to attend all PTL meetings and activities. Your attendance is a demonstration of your interest and commitment to your child’s education.
Through the fundraising events, Grace’s PTL has provided new playground equipment, materials in the classrooms for the teachers, provided teacher appreciation gifts, and so much more. We plan and host two major fundraising events every school year. To make these events successful, we need many hands to share the load! Come join us!
